A little insight into how we create your perfect custom wedding dress here at the Bridal Fitting Room
Step 1
YOUR FIRST CONSULTATION
Bring along anything that inspires you, a Pinterest board is a great way to save images and ideas for your bespoke wedding dress design. We will guide you on the most suitable fabrics to achieve the effect you desire.
Step 2
Creating Your Wedding Dress Toile
After you choose your fabric and commissioned your bespoke wedding gown, we will begin taking your measurements. For custom wedding gowns, measurements should be taken six months prior to your wedding date (with the undergarment you intend to wear on your wedding day). These measurements will be used to make a mock-up of your wedding dress and can then be adjusted to get your perfect fit.
Step 3
Your First Fitting
At this stage, your bespoke wedding dress will be made in your chosen fabric and will be ready for try on. You will get a good idea of how your dress is going to look at this point. Our brides love this appointment and so do we. It's such a magical experience seeing how your dream bridal dress is becoming a reality! We would usually call in for 4 or more dress fittings.
Step 5
The Final Wedding Dress Fitting
All the finishing touches have been added and your beautiful bespoke wedding dress is ready! We will check all the details to make sure that you are confident with your custom-made wedding dress. This is the last time you will try on your bridal gown before your special day, then it will be steamed and prepped ready for you to inspect it at your collection appointment. The bespoke wedding dress experience is your personal journey and we love joining our brides on this very special experience!
